Information points
Every step you take in the Balze of Valdarno is a step into a world where nature, history and culture intertwine in an unforgettable mosaic.
But before you begin your journey through this enchanted landscape, there are a few golden rules that we urge you to follow. Not only for your safety, but also to preserve the beauty and magic of this place for future generations.
Guardians of Nature: imagine being guardians of a hidden treasure. Every flower, every stone, every creature here has a story to tell. Let them continue to tell the story by not picking plants or flowers and not disturbing the animals. And remember: any waste left behind can contaminate the beauty of this place.
Follow the marked paths: the trails here are more than just paths; they are delicate threads woven into a natural work of art. By staying on the trails, you will be sure not to disturb this delicate balance and enjoy the journey safely.
Prepare for adventure: this is not a simple path. Wear comfortable shoes, carry water and a small snack, and be surprised by the wonders of nature. And don’t forget to check the weather forecast!
Celebrate local culture: the stories of the Balze del Valdarno are deep, ancient. Listen to the whisper of the past in every rock and stream. Respect the traditions and immerse yourself in the history of this enchanting place.
Leave the matches at home: here, the flame of a lighter can become a devastating fire. Therefore, lighting fires or camping is forbidden. Nature thanks you for this small gesture of care.
Be a responsible photographer: capture memories, but leave the environment as you found it. Avoid using flashes or drones without the necessary permits so as not to disturb the inhabitants of these places.
Beware of special rules: some areas of the crags are delicate and require special care. Paying attention to signs and respecting any restrictions will help you protect these treasures.
Become an ambassador for the environment: while you explore, take the time to learn about the unique ecosystem of this place. The more we learn, the more we can contribute to its preservation.
Do not hesitate to report dangers: if you encounter any problems or see anything worrying, do not hesitate to report it. Security is a common and shared commitment.
Join the conservation efforts: if you feel inspired by this magical place, consider contributing in some way to its protection. Every gesture, big or small, makes a difference.
